The anchor of the Dunlin community, the signature restaurant celebrates river life and Johns Island Heritage with a modern yet familiar approach to Lowcountry dining. Linnet is a songbird from the finch family and is a nod to the birdcage-inspired shape of the restaurant bar. We’ve adapted the idea to a name that feels personal, like visiting a neighbor's home. Southern food with coastal influences, the seafood forward menu is informed by the seasons and our farm partners and the days catch from the local fisherman.
An oasis within the resort, the Resort Pool is a throwback to the 1950's glamour of the iconic swim club. With a lush tropical landscape, striped green umbrellas and private cabanas, this adult centric pool club offers a luxe lunch classics. Whimsical with a nod to vintage and a bit of Beverly Hills glamour, the menu offerings are modern interpretations of of classics. Cocktails are fanciful and low ABV made with with fresh squeezed juice and photo worthy garnishes.
Named after a large native shorebird bird, member of the sandpiper family, the Willet Room is the lobby bar. Located on the ground floor of the main building this charming room and terrace overlook the Kiawah River. Buzzing with conversation this mingling spot serving up refreshing cocktails, light bites and the perfect iced tea. Food and drink are infused with southern charm. Open throughout the day, enjoy a morning coffee, a light lunch or a selection of South Carolina sweets and tea in the afternoon. In the evening enjoy wood fire grilled oysters and a Charleston Swizzle from the bar which boasts an impressive rare whisky and rhum agricole selection. Grab and go coffee and pastries are available at our bar for guests and Kiawah River residents looking for a light pickup option.
